The governor of St. Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko visited the MIBS Proton therapy center and was convinced that the implementation of the city's strategic project is on schedule. On the eve of that day the center began to work in a test mode and received the first patients in the diagnostic department. Doctors-oncologists are already working in the center; there is an opportunity to undergo MRI and CT examinations. In the near future the nuclear diagnostics department will open its doors with a new generation PET/CT. The preparation of treatment plans and the production of individual restraint devices are being carried out for the first patients who will undergo a course of proton therapy.
